The year 1995 was the first time Graham was named the show’s head of writing and executive producer for the show The Drew Carey Show. He was on the show for eight of the nine seasons, and produced nearly 200 hours. He wrote and produced some of the show’s signature songs in addition to the series’ annually “live” broadcasts. Graham composed “Something Wick This Way Comes,” the second episode of the season’s second season that featured the first appearance of the persona of Nigel Wick (Craig Ferguson) who was regular on the show for more than 185 episodes. The year 1998 was the time Graham as well as Drew Carey joined a small team of producers to China to become the very first Americans to shoot an American sitcom China with locations like The Great Wall and the Beijing McDonald’s.
In 2007 Graham started developing MrsP.com an entertainment site for children. The New York Times published an essay by Graham in its Modern Love column on July 8, 2010, titled “What Clown Wrote This Script?’ detailing Graham’s relationship with an unnamed actress for whom he developed a TV pilot a decade earlier. Although comic in tone, the essay explores Graham’s inner struggles about mixing business and romance and ends on a bittersweet note.
