Clara Chou is one of the most popular and richest Politician who was born on September 9, 1953 in Keelung, Taiwan. Clara Chou (Chinese: Zhou Yu Kou ; pinyin: Zhou Yukou ; Wade-Giles Chou Yu-kou , born 9 September 1953) is a Taiwanese journalist, TV and radio host.

Chou also made accusations against KMT in June 2015. Chou made further accusations of KMT in June of 2015 the same time, but this time with regard to then-unconfirmed presidential candidate Hung Hsiu Chu, who claimed Hung’s master’s diploma earned at Northeast Missouri State University was fake. Hung filed a lawsuit against Chou as well as her Next Magazine employees who first made the allegations public. Chou added the following month that Hung was considering stopping her presidential run earlier in exchange for a legislative post or cash. In the aftermath, Hung charged Chou with defamation in a second time. In the same month Terry Gou was awarded NT$2 million in a defamation lawsuit against Chou who had been accused by Gou of infringing on lawful Political Donations Act in January.

in 2014, Chou claimed that President Ma Ying-jeou, who was a donor to Ting Hsin International Group. In the meantime, the company was under investigation in connection with an investigation into the Taiwan Food scandal. Chou believed that Ma played a role in hiding Ting Hsin’s involvement in the scandal. The incident occurred in December. Ma has filed lawsuits in two cases against Chou for comments she made. Then, she filed an injunction against the Kuomintang and the Wu Den-yih, the acting chairperson of the party. Chou was exiled from her KMT membership later in the month just days after she provided evidence regarding the Kuomintang’s wrongdoings. In December of 2015 the Taipei District Prosecutors Office indicted Chou for defamation in relation to her remarks regarding Ting Hsin. The first decision in the Ma’s court case against Chou was issued later in the month. In the end, Taipei District Court found her not to be defamatory. Ma challenged the ruling before Taiwan High Court.
