Chuwit Kamolvisit is one of the most popular and richest Politician who was born on August 29, 1961 in Yaowarat Road, Thailand. Chuwit Kamolvisit (Thai: chuuwithy kmlwisisd ; RTGS: Chuwit Kamonwisit ; born on 29 August 1961) is known as a divisive Thai political figure who was the biggest massage parlour proprietor, dubbed by the name of “tub tycoon”. Following his investigation in 2003, the tycoon publically declared that he had paid huge sums of money to Thai officials. Then, he sold some the massage salons. He then created his own political party and was unsuccessfully running to be Bangkok Governor in the month of August. In 2005, he got elected to a 4-year term in the Thai House of Representatives, however, in 2006 it was decided that the Constitutional Court removed him from the parliament. In October 2008, he ran for the governorship in Bangkok with the status of an independent, but did not win. In the general election, his party took five seats within the House of Representatives. He was known as Davis Kamol on occasion.
Following the revelations about corruption, Chuwit disappeared for two days. He later claimed that he was taken away and abused by the police, but others believe that he was the one to stage the disappearance of his friend. Chuwit’s massage salons were searched and some of his accounts frozen. Chuwit was also accused of selling prostitutes to minors since three masseuses who were who were under 18 were discovered working in his parlours. The court cleared him in June of 2004, because the court found that the girls had used fake ID cards, and Chuwit did not hold accountable. The same time, Chuwit closed the parlour he owned declaring that harassment by police had caused him to have a difficult time operating.
For the 2005 legislative elections, Chuwit merged his party with the conservative Chart Thai Party. He ran successfully as a party list candidate, becoming a member of parliament.
In January 2006, however, the Constitutional Court revoked his MP status. A candidate must be a member of a political party for at least 90 days before the general election and the court found that Chuwit had not joined Chart Thai in time.
In an interview in February 2004 in February 2004, Chuwit said that he paid Thai policemen to clean his property in Sukhumvit Soi 10. The issue was made open, the police demanded more money, which Chuwit did not want to pay. They turned on him and he disclosed the bribes he paid in response.

In the month of January 2003 Chuwit was accused of hiring 600 men to tear down shops, bars along with a laundry and a travel agency “Sukhumvit Square”, a parcel of land that which he owns in Sukhumvit Soi 10. It was an apparent effort to eliminate tenants who paid low rent in order for the land to be improved. Tenants believed that they were able to lease their land from a different firm and were not informed of the raid. It was conducted early on the morning of a Sunday. Chuwit was arrested and incarcerated for one month in prison. He denied guilt and was released under bail.
As of September 3, 2003, Chuwit formally founded his own political party named First Thai Nation. In April 2004, he announced that he was running to be the position of governor in Bangkok. He was planning to spend around 20 million baht for his campaign, and he had corrupt police force and the government as his primary issue. It was the Bangkok governor elections took place on August 29th, 2004. Chuwit came in third place, receiving around 300,000 votes, which is around 16 percent of the votes cast.
In May 2005 he began hosting a weekly call-in radio show, during which he listened to complaints from the public.
