Chung Chia-pin Biography

Chung Chia-pin is one of the most popular and richest Politician who was born on February 23, 1965 in Pingtung, Taiwan. Chung Chia-pin (Chinese: Zhong Jia Bin born in 1965) is a Taiwanese politician. He was a member of Taiwan’s National Assembly from 1996 to 2000. The National Assembly was his home until 2000. Legislative Yuan in 2016.

Chung has expressed his support for the care and maintenance of the villages of military dependents and asked officials from the Ministries of Education and National Defense to assist retired military instructors find work. He also has tried to lift the legal limitations on foreign workers working in Taiwan. Concerning transport, Chung preferred that Taiwan’s fuel tax be calculated in relation to the amount of the distance traveled. In the realm of education, he’s refused to force private institutions of education in Taiwan to make public their financial expenses. Following a ruling in 2017 Constitutional Court ruling on the legality of marriages between same-sex couples within Taiwan, Chung stated, “We do not think people in China are seeking different values than people in Taiwan. It is the result of a different political system and democratic practices over the years.”

Chung ran for a Pingtung County legislative seat in 2016 and was elected. In May of 2016, Chung became one of the ten lawmakers who were the first to vote in favor of amending the Act of Gender Equality in Employment designed to increase the length of maternity leave granted to the spouses of unmarried women. In the same month, he was appointed the first chair of two legislative groups designed to strengthen Taiwan’s relationship and relations with European nations. In May of 2017, Chung founded the “Renewable Power Promotion Alliance” along with his fellow lawmakers Chen Man-li, Su Chih-fen along with Yang Yao.

Chung has received his primary and secondary education at schools in his home town of Pingtung County. Then he completed a bachelor’s in the field of history at National Taiwan University. Chen was student activists in the 1980s and to lead his fellow students in the Wild Lily movement of 1990. Chen later received his master’s diploma in the field of science from National Pingtung University of Science and Technology.

He was a member of with the People Sovereignty Action Network and protested against the signing in 2010 of the Economic Cooperation Framework Agreement. In the year 2012 Chung has been appointed deputy magistrate in Pingtung as a result of Tsao Chi-hung. Chung served as Pingtung County Government spokesman during the 2014 Taiwan food scandal and accused Pingtung’s Ministry of Health and Welfare of “setting up” Pingtung in the leak of sensitive details in the direction of Ting Hsin International Group, one of the companies that were involved in the food scandal.
