Christopher Harrison first appeared on television in AntiGravity in the year 1991’s Miss America Pageant in a segment titled “Extreme Dance” by choreographer Scott Salmon. The following time, Harrison choreographed a segment for the NBA All-Star Game half-time show in addition to the television show “NBA All-Star Stay in School Jam” featuring MC Hammer.
In 1992, Harrison appeared with AntiGravity alongside Marisa Tomei in The Comedy of Errors at the Delacorte Theater for Shakespeare in the Park.
Harrison has had a long-standing relationship with the Metropolitan Opera House in New York City. In 1992 he led the Opera’s first in-house acrobatic troupe in 14 stage appearances, and in the following year, Harrison created acrobatic staging in a production of Berlioz’s Les Troyens.
Then in the year 1991 Harrison altered the band’s name “AntiGravity” when they performed as a part of The Radio City Music Hall annual Easter Show. They’ve since appeared in more than 500 productions as well as live performances across more than 25 countries, and have teams located in New York City, Las Vegas, Orlando, Toronto and Ontario.

On the 3rd of November in 1990 Christopher Harrison founded AntiGravity, Inc after the organizers of the New York Marathon hired him to choreograph a show for the marathon’s closing ceremony held at the Roseland Ballroom. Initially, the name was “ZeroGravity,” the performance group included acrobats, athletes and former Olympic athletes and Harrison as choreographer and director.
Harrison began to develop his movement method as a tumbling expert and later, as a dancer in Broadway productions of theatre. He was a choreographer in 1990 when he formed the company that performs AntiGravity comprised of acrobats and athletes also former Olympic competitors and with Harrison acting as director. They are involved in numerous projects, such as the production of original theatre shows corporate events, corporate productions, and choreographing live performances, like The 2007 Neighborhood Inaugural Ball and the closing ceremony during the 2002 Winter Olympics. AntiGravity has also worked with pop and rock stars to perform in shows for the entertainment industry such as The Academy Awards, the MTV Video Music Awards and the Grammys. Harrison continues to be an aerial artist for Broadway shows as well as for the Metropolitan Opera.
He directed his first full-length acrobatic show for Club Med Resorts in 1991. For six years, the interdependence he established with the international resort company allowed his performers to attain access to rehearsal space, where he continued to develop the troupe’s acrobatic style.
