In the women’s doubles, Pedersen has played in doubles with Kamilla Rytter Juhl since 2010 until the year 2018. At first, the two athletes have also competed alongside their partners in mixed doubles. However since 2015. Juhl is competing exclusively in the women’s singles. They won an Olympic silver medal during the 2015 World Championships, and a bronze medal at the 2013 Guangzhou World Championship and at the 2017 BWF World Championships. Pedersen along with Rytter Juhl have taken home the complete of 4 European female doubles championships as well as the one World Superseries Final and five Superseries titles. They also have an all-time high World Ranking of number 2. The duo took home a silver medal at the Rio Olympics in 2016. Rio Olympics and as a result, become the very first Europeans to compete at the Olympic ladies’ doubles championship. Pedersen was also the sole Danish badminton player who has achieved twice Olympic medals.

Pedersen and Rytter Juhl’s autobiography, “Det Unikke Makkerskab” (loosely translated: The unique partnership), written with support from journalist Rasmus M. Bech, was released in Denmark in October 2017. In the book, the couple tell not only of their lives as international badminton players, but of their life together off court; having been a couple since 2009.

From the year 2008, Pedersen paired with Joachim Fischer Nielsen in mixed doubles. The duo won the pair two European mixed doubles championships, winning Bronze at 2009’s Hyderabad World Championships and at the 2014 World Championships, and placed 3rd at 2012’s Summer Olympics. Pedersen as well as Fischer Nielsen also produced strong performances in the BWF Super Series circuit, winning three World Superseries Finals and ten Superseries titles. They also achieved the record-setting World Ranking of number 1.
