Chris Steineger is one of the most popular and richest Politician who was born on January 8, 1962 in Kansas City, Kansas, United States. Steineger was elected in his seat in Kansas Senate in 1996, 2000, 2004 and in the year 2008.

The year 2006 was the time that Steineger gave a lecture on American politics, government, elections, and campaigning on The Chinese Foreign Relations University in Beijing. In 2013, with an award from the Fulbright award, Steineger served as a the guest lecturer at Humboldt University in Berlin. In 2016, after receiving another Fulbright prize, the awardee served as an invited lecturer at two universities of Athens in Greece and Thessaloniki, Greece.

After many years as a Democrat, Steineger switched parties and joined the Republican party in 2010. He self describes as “Libertarian Conservative” and supports policies including a simplified tax code; deregulation of small business; public school choice; privatization & outsourcing of government services; welfare reform. With a Libertarian view, he staunchly supports the rights of individuals to make their own choices without interference by politicians or bureaucrats regarding abortion; firearms ownership; smoking; drinking; gambling; marriage; seat belt, and helmet usage.

Steineger ran unsuccessfully for Kansas Secretary of State (KSOS) in 2010, losing the Democratic primary to incumbent Chris Biggs, 49,238 60.2%, to 32,518 39.7%. During the campaign, it was revealed that in 2006, Mike Sager, Steineger’s Campaign Finance Director, who had previously been fined $9,000 for campaign ethics violations, was indicted for a felony count of stealing $22,500 from his own Missouri campaign and “…a misdemeanor count of filing false campaign finance reports in order to subsequently cover up the theft.”

He was a resident during three weeks in Japan as part of the Japan Society Fellowship to study Japanese agriculture processing of food, as well as marketing of food. The year 2004, Steineger was studying European health systems in Brussels through a Fellowship program as part of The European Union Visitors Program. In 2006, he gave a lecture on American political and government policies elections, campaigns, and other issues on the Chinese Foreign Relations University in Beijing. The year 2007 was the first time he traveled to Cuba and gave a presentation on American policy on wetlands in the Caribbean Wetlands Symposium. The is the year he also conducted research on the health and energy system at the University of Israel in the capacity of a fellow in The American Jewish Committee’s Project Interchange.
