Chin-Feng Chen is one of the most popular and richest Baseball Player who was born on October 28, 1977 in Danei District, Tainan, Taiwan. Chen Chin-feng (Chinese: Chen Jin Feng Pinyin: Chen Jinfeng ; Wade-Giles Ch’en Chin-Feng born the 28th of October, 1977) is a player in the outfield of baseball who was the first Taiwanese player to play for Major League Baseball in 2002. Chen has a Taiwanese aboriginal of Siraya tribe.

As of 2005 Chen made history as the only Taiwanese position-player to receive hit Major League Baseball, a 2-run RBI single off Colorado Rockies’ reliever Bobby Seay. However Chin-hui Tsao was earlier been the very first Taiwanese player to score hitting in the Majors as a pitcher playing for being a part of the Colorado Rockies on August 18 in 2003.

Chen was one of the first Taiwanese athlete to compete for Major League baseball when he made his debut on the 14th of September the 14th of September, 2002. Chen played for the Los Angeles Dodgers in parts of the 2002-05 season but was only a few times. The year 2005 was the first time Chen did not want to take an transfer back to Dodgers’ Las Vegas 51s AAA team, and to try out with a different Major League team.
