Ng was born in Singapore in 1972. He was a student at Pei Tong Primary School and Fairfield Methodist School (Secondary) . At the age of 15, began working weekends as a Roadie load and unloading the equipment to the mobile disco outfit. After passing his O level, he enrolled in Singapore Polytechnic to study Electrical and Electronics Engineering. However, he decided to get into the circuit of deejays, working with a few companies, and spinning at various clubs before being hired with The Music Force.

In 2004 Ng started Zouk Kuala Lumpur, the sister club of Zouk Singapore. The first few period was filled with difficulties as well as Zouk KL underwent a major overhaul in 2008, which saw it split the rooms it had in place into 7 rooms that cater to the increasing populace.

In the second quarter of 2015, the new 11-room Zouk KL relocated to TREC (Taste.Relish.Experience.Celebrate, of which he is also the co-founder), an entertainment and lifestyle precinct located in Jalan Tun Razak, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. TREC is Malaysia’s first and largest purpose-built entertainment and lifestyle destination. It comprises five zones that houses bars, restaurants, eateries and cafes with over 30 F&B and entertainment brands. In 2016, Ng was awarded the prestigious HAPA Icon of the Year award for his work at Zouk, which also clinched The BrandLaureate Award – the first for a club brand as a recipient.

The revamp paid off; Zouk KL went on to clinch many media accolades for Best Club, including the prestigious Kuala Lumpur Mayor’s Tourism Awards (Nightspot Category).

He also organized the first-ever ZoukOut together with Zouk Singapore in 2001 and 2000 that remains one of Asia’s largest music events.
