He was in Hale’s music videos of their track Kahit Pa and was the winner in the Myx VJ Search 2008-2015, and is currently a sports anchor on TV5. Lui Pio can also be described as the father of Bernardita Dolino and widely-respected musician Arturo Li-Pio, who is who was also called Nonoy Tan of the former group Wadab in the 80s. Lui Pio also has two sisters: Cha Lui Pio and Cher Lui Pio.

On the 6th of August in 2010, Lui Pio, along with the group, announced that they did not have any plans to produce new music in the band and, consequently, disbanded. The announcement came shortly just days after Arthur himself had announced his plans to pursue a solo musical career as well as acting.

As a solo performer, the album he is releasing as his first solo effort Synergy is scheduled to be released in the second half of 2010. The track Hanging Habagat was released on October 19, 2010 and will be used as the physical single for the album in conjunction with the release of the music video. Other singles released in the following days were Sa’Yo lang (feat. Julianne Tarroja) and “Sari-Saring Kwento” (feat. Gloc-9 and Noel Cabangon).

Arthur Bernard Dolino Lui Pio (born on February 8th 1982) is a musician and guitarist and vocalist from Hale. He is known under the moniker “Champ” or “Champ Lui-Pio”.

In 2004 Lui Pio joined Hale as a vocalist and guitarist. As a collective they were able to produce four mainstream albums , and 18 popular singles as well as two jingles to advertise Nescafe or Close-Up. He also assisted in establishing the Treehouse Productions whose sole purpose is to aid the poor children who suffer from physical and mental illness through music. Many other musicians later joined Treehouse Productions to help achieve the goals and purpose of the group.

Lui-Pio established an independent local music label Mecca Music in early

2011. Somedaydream was the first to sign up to the label as mainstream contract artist. He had also reunited with members from his former band and planned to release a debut single with them on early-2015.
