Everyday Something is a 14-minute film shot on 35mm in 2001. This film is based upon Morley’s newspaper clippings and examines the strange happenings in everyday people’s lives. In Return Trip (24 minutes), Morley meets Catherine Corcoran and visits India, where they were teenagers. Stalin My Neighbour (15 minutes) focuses on Morley’s obsession with missing people. Annie, the main character, is obsessed with her local history and trying to forget about her past. It was also included in The Alcohol Years.

The Fear of Trilogy (3 mins) was filmed with a mobile phone and was shot and edited in one day. Her short film called The Madness of the Dance (18 mins) was finished in 2006. It looks into mass manias and individual obsessions like the “biting mania” and obsessive compulsive disorders like trichotillomania.

She was a guest at the 4th annual Screen Stockport Film Festival, answering questions on her new film The Falling. Morley’s young-adult novel 7 Miles Out was published in 2015.

From 1993 to 2011, Morley directed 12 films, ranging from 3 minutes to 93 minutes in length. Morley was a Central Saint Martins graduate and made two films called Girl. This short film was shot with 16mm film and uses cross- cutting as well as devices from the genre melodrama. It creates a sense of crisis and conflict. Secondhand Daylight, the other degree film, was shot in a fast-food restaurant. Morley lost her father when she was 11 years old.
