Carlos Silvestre Frenk, CBE FRS (born 27 October 1951) is a Mexican-British-German cosmologist. Frenk was made Commander of the Order of the British Empire in the 2017 Birthday Honours. This honor recognizes his services to cosmology, and the public dissemination of fundamental science. Kirsty Young interviewed Frenk for Desert Island Discs in 2018, the first time it was broadcast.
