Captain New Japan is one of the most popular and richest Professional Wrestler who was born on March 27, 1982 in Sapporo, Hokkaido, Japan. Japanese professional wrestler Mitsuhide Hirasawa is Ping Ze Guang Xiu / Hirasawa Mitsuhide. He was born 27 March 1982. He is best known for working in New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW) under his masked persona, Captain New Japan (kiyaputenniyuziyapan , Kyaputen Nyu Japan) . He also worked as Bone Soldier under another mask, unmasked under his real identity, and under the ring name Hideosaito (hideosaito, Hideosaito).
Hirasawa, who now goes by the Saito surname, returned to New Japan in June. He turned against Seigigun’s leader Yuji Nagata and joined Chaos. Saito participated in the 2011 G1 Climax. He lost his first eight matches, but he won his first win in the tournament against his mentor Yuji Nagata on the final day. Nagata beat his former protege in a grudge game on 19 September. Saito’s unpredictable behavior and poor match results led to Chaos exiling him from the stable on December 4, 2011. Saito was exiled from Chaos and created an alter-ego, “Captain New Japan”, wearing a variant of Captain America’s costume complete with shield. Captain New Japan participated in the 2012 World Tag League. He teamed up with Hiroshi Tanahashi, IWGP Heavyweight Champion, under the name “Captain Ace”. Captain New Japan was pin in each of the six matches. The team lost all six. Captain New Japan was defeated by Hirooki, Karl Anderson and Ryusuke Taguchi in an eight-man tag match at Seigigun on March 3. Bad Luck Fale attacked Captain New Japan on 7 April. Devitt would also unmask him, but his face was not shown. Captain New Japan formed a partnership with Taguchi (Devitt’s former Apollo 55 partner) and challenged Devitt at Wrestling Dontaku 2013. They lost. After these events, Captain New Japan faced off against Devitt’s Bullet Club and reformed his alliance to Tanahashi. Captain New Japan brought Tanahashi to the Ring akin Fale and Devitt on 4 August. He became involved in the match-up to try to limit Fale’s interference, but Devitt ultimately defeated Tanahashi. Captain Ace and Tanahashi reunited in November for the 2013 World Tag League. The team lost five of their first five matches. However, on the final day they won Fale and Devitt’s match. Captain pin Devitt, which cost the Bullet Club team a place in the semifinals.
In early 2016, Captain New Japan became part of Yoshitatsu’s new anti-Bullet Club stable, Hunter Club. On 12 September, Yoshitatsu, upset with Captain New Japan’s poor performances, announced a Twitter poll that would decide whether he would get to stay in Hunter Club.
Hirasawa did not achieve success during his time in NJPW. Despite being part of two of NJPW’s best known stables, Chaos and Bullet Club, his time with both was short and marred by poor performances. His Bone Soldier persona was heavily panned outside Japan and was consequently named 2016’s “Worst Gimmick” by the Wrestling Observer Newsletter.
Hirasawa took a tour of Puerto Rican World Wrestling Council in September 2010 and adopted the new ringname Hideo Saito as a tribute Masa Saito (and Hideo Nomo). Saito would soon find himself playing many characters, thanks to his new gimmick. Saito won his first championship on 25 September when he won a fight royal for the vacant WWC Caribbean Heavyweight Championship. He would then lose it on 27 novembre. He also won the WWC Puerto Rico Heavyweight Championship on 19 February and lost it on 26 April. Saito participated in the Invasion Tour 2011, NJPW’s first ever tour of the United States. He entered the tournament in Rahway, New Jersey on 13 May to determine the first ever IWGP Intercontinental Champion. In his first round match, he lost to Yujiro Takahashi.
