He also collaborated on the hit song “Henna”, which reached number 9 in Sweden, and was charted in Belgium and the Netherlands. Cameron and Khaled performed Henna to 100.000 people at the European Athletics Championship 2006. All European National Televisions broadcast the performance.
He is now signed with Universal Music Group, Sherfa Music and Taraneh Records. In 2011, he has released a dance hit “Electric”, a Persian language cover of Melody Club song.

Cameron Cartio’s debut at Melodifestivalen 2005 was with “Roma”, his song. Cameron Cartio created a conlang to express the lyrics of “Roma”, a language he called “borderless language for love”. The same song was also translated into Spanish. After qualifying in the Linkoping semifinals on February 19, 2005, he reached the “Andrachansen” stage (second chance) of the competition. He failed to make it to the finals after singing in the qualifying round for “second chance”, which took place on 6 March 2005. The song was popular with the Swedish audience and reached the Top 5 on the Swedish music charts, peaking at No. 4 (April 2005).
His debut album, Borderless, was released in 2005 by Sony Music. Cameron has signed to Taraneh Records, Sherfa Music, and has a publishing agreement with Universal Music Group. He is currently working on his untitled second album. He is still popular in Iran, Sweden and the Arab World, as well as the Iranian diaspora.
He followed “Roma” with his first studio album Borderless that includes notably, besides “Roma” a duo featuring rai singer Khaled. The song entitled “Henna” is in Arabic and in Farsi. Cameron and Khaled also released an Arabic/Spanish version on a maxi CD for Spain in 2006. His song “Henna” (partly in Arabic) and his collaboration with Cheb Khaled made him popular throughout the Arab World. He also found success with the catchy hit “Ni Na Nay”. The bilingual English/Spanish “Don’t Tell Me Tonight” a song with Edurne made it to the Top 40 on the Greek radio charts. On the album Borderless Cameron worked with the songwriters and producers Alex P and Marcus Englof on the majority of the album.
