They continue to represent him. Innes’ most well-known series, “Exposed”, was displayed at the Ikon Gallery in Birmingham, England, 1998 and the Kunsthalle Bern, Switzerland the next year. Callum Innes’ major retrospective, “From Memory”, was held at The Fruitmarket Gallery in Edinburgh in 2006. It was toured to Modern Art Oxford and the Museum of Contemporary Art Sydney. Innes also had a significant solo exhibition of his new work at Ingleby Gallery during the Edinburgh Art Festival 2009. colour, featuring 101 of the artist’s watercolours paired with text by Irish writer Colm Toibin. Callum Innes had his first major solo show in Asia at Edouard Malingue Gallery, Hong Kong, in 2012.
