Eifert was placed on injured/reserve for the remainder of the season. On October 1, 2017, Uzomah made his first catch of the season for an 11-yard gain during a 31-7 victory at the Cleveland Browns. The next game, he earned his first start of the season and had one reception for 21-yards in a 20-16 win against the Buffalo Bills.
