In 1995, he won the national contest organized by ARCI “Summertime in Jazz” as the top new jazz concept of the year. He was rewarded through the publication of his record Gang of One. In the same year , he was chosen as one of the six finalists in the inaugural version of the Massimo Urbani International Award.In 1996, he was awarded the contest organized by ISMEZ (National Institute for the Development of Music within the Southern Region) for the development of”Is Ensamble,” the “Is Ensamble” orchestra conducted by Paolo Damiani. Together with Orchestra “IS Ensemble” he recorded the live album with the same name during the Europa Jazz Festival a Bari.
In 2016 he was invited together with the French Canadian saxophonist Guy-Frank Pellerin (student and then teacher of the Institute for Art, Culture and Perception founded in Paris by Alan Silva) to perform as a duo at the 30th edition of the Barga Jazz Festival.
After Detonazione in 1989, jazz activity began. He records as a leader and co- leader for a myriad of musical projects that range from avant-garde to pop. In the 90s, he worked in the creation for three Alice albums, and was a part of Alice’s Italian tour and the European Tour Pass The Years Tour Alice Visconti. As a member of Alice He is a part of the production for the debut Devogue album, which he recorded with Gavin Harrison, Stefano Battaglia and other musicians from different backgrounds.
