In July of 2016 In July 2016, Orlandina Basket, the Italian LBA League side Orlandina Basket announced appointment of Fitipaldo. On the 5th of November 5, 2016, Fitipaldo was named the LBA’s MVP in the Round six of games. The Uruguayan-Italian player finished the round 6 game with 33 points , during an Orlandina overtime victory against Brescia. Fitipaldo was on the court for 45 minutes and added three rebounds, 10 assists 9 fouls drew, and an evaluation of 44 points.

Fitipaldo started his career during the 2006-07 season of the Uruguayan League’s Club Malvin, in the city of Montevideo. While playing in the Uruguayan League of basketball, Fitipaldo became the team’s local idol because of his impressive performance. In the season of 2010-11, Fitipaldo won the Uruguayan league championship for his team.
