He directed a flash-animated television series as well as a commercial series dubbed Robotskin for Philips in 2007.

In 2010, he shot the first brand film for Shangri-La that metaphorically presents a philosophy imbued by generosity and humanism. In 2011, Swarovski enlisted directly Aveillan to create a cinema short movie that would conjure Swarovski’s more than one-hundred-year heritage on the big screen, which was premiered at Time Square NYC, on 1 January.

Aveillan has also directed a string of advertisements for Thermasilk where he created and captured a distinctive vision and poetic world. The commercial for Nissan-Infinity “Athem” was presented during the opening ceremony in 2002’s Oscar ceremony. In addition to Martin Scorsese and Oliver Stone, Aveillan has directed four commercials to promote the debut of the company Orange. He collaborated together with Land Artist Nils Udo in creating distinct visual universes for the fragrance Mahora of Guerlain. The year 2006 was the time he collaborated together with the fashion designer Olivier Theyskens for the launch of the brand new Rochas fragrance (Starring the model Jessica Stam).
