Bruce Collins (born February 2 1958) is an American former professional and collegiate basketball player. Collins was selected with the Portland Trail Blazers in the second round (33rd selection) in the year 1980 NBA draft. Collins played for the NCAA as a player at Weber State University and is the school’s all-time top scoring player.

Bruce Collins’ Weber State jersey number 22 was retired February. 13in 2016. Collins added Willie Sojourner as the only Weber State men’s basketball players to retire a jersey.

Collins was part of the 12-man U.S. squad played games to prepare other teams to compete in during the 1984 Olympics. The team played teams from China and China, the Philippines, Spain, and Russia winning 76 out of the 77 games.
