Mihocek was a player for Tasmania during Australia’s Australian Football League’s AFL Under 18 Championships, where Tasmania was the Division 2 premier and was included in the Under 18 All-Australian side at centre half-back. He was not selected in the 2011 AFL draft. Then he was a player with the Burnie Dockers, and was part of the 2012.
