Brian John Slocum (born March 27 1981, in New Rochelle, New York) is a former left-handed Major League Baseball pitcher. After graduating from high school, he was selected to the Minnesota Twins in the 14th round of the 1999 Major League Baseball Draft, but he decided to go to Villanova University. It was the Cleveland Indians selected him in the second round of the 2002 Major League Baseball Draft and they signed him in June of the same year.

As of 2006 Slocum began his big league career in Kansas City on April 22 in

2006. He pitched 2 innings and allowing two runs, walking 2 and striking out two.

The year 2003 was the time that Slocum earned the distinction of being the Carolina League top prospect with Kinston by Sportsticker and in 2004 Slocum was the top player in Kinston in winnings. In 2004, he led the Carolina League in wins (15) along with Kinston and was tied for the top spot in games that were complete (2) as well as Shutouts (2). Then, in November of 2005 Cleveland made Slocum a part of their 40-man team. He was a free agent following the season of 2008, Slocum signed with the Pittsburgh Pirates in December. Slocum was released in July of 2009.
