Brian James Esposito (born February 24 1979, in Staten Island, New York) is an American minor league baseball manager as well as a Former professional baseball player. He was a part of three games in the Major Leagues in brief stints with the St. Louis Cardinals (2007) and Houston Astros (2010).
Esposito will join the Houston team in the year 2010, after the team expanded the roster during September. He was scheduled to make only two plate games on the 18th of September 2010 in the game against The Cincinnati Reds when he was an in-between substitution in place of Jason Castro. He was also summoned to the plate on June 24, 2011 and was returned to the team on June 29 with no appearance. In October, he decided to sign to go on free agency.
On May 20, 2012 he was signed to a minor league deal by the Chicago Cubs and sent down to their Triple-A affiliate, the Iowa Cubs.
In March 2013, Esposito signed with the Pittsburgh Pirates as a player-coach.
Esposito signed an agreement with minor leagues of the Astros on January 14, 2009 as well as being invited to the Astros’ spring training.

Esposito played baseball in college with his alma mater, the University of Connecticut, and in 1999, he played in an collegiate summer game with the Orleans Cardinals of the Cape Cod Baseball League. He was picked for Boston Red Sox Boston Red Sox in the 5th round of the 2000 MLB Draft.
Esposito was pulled by his team, the Memphis Redbirds on May 30 2007 when the Cardinals first catcher, Yadier Molina, was placed on the disabled list due to a broken wrist. Esposito made his debut in the major leagues on two days later against Houston Astros as a late-inning defensive replacement for Gary Bennett. He didn’t make an appearance on the plate. He was back in Memphis the 5th of June, after the Cardinals bought the veteran catcher Kelly Stinnett from the Los Angeles Dodgers. The year 2008 was the last time he was a player in the Double-A Tulsa Drillers in the Colorado Rockies organization. He became an unrestricted free agent after the season.
On December 23, 2011, Esposito signed a minor league deal with the Cincinnati Reds with an invitation to spring training.
