Branko Trajkov is one of the most popular and richest Musician who was born on October 9, 1966 in Zagreb, Croatia. Branko Trajkov (born on October 9th 1996) Also known as his nickname Trak is an Croatian music producer and musician. He is most well-known for his role as the drummer of the rock band called Zabranjeno Pusenje. He also organizes artistic and music therapy drum classes for adults and children.
When he was in 1994 Trajkov was offered a position in Croatian Radiotelevision, and the following year, he was employed at the Vatroslav Lisinski Concert Hall. He was employed as an engineer until 1997. In the mid- 2000s He joined the band 7/8 which is a pit orchestra from Ezerki the Zagreb- based women’s choir that plays folklore-based Macedonian popular songs. In the meantime the band was working alongside Lidija Bajuk on four of her album studio albums. He also performed at certain shows.
In 2000s, Trajkov and his fellow band members of Zabranjeno pušenje took a part in a social responsibility project in which they organized music workshops for children and youth who were victims of land mines. The workshops were taken two times in a year. The winter workshops were held in Kranjska Gora, Slovenia, while the summer workshops were held in Rovinj, Croatia. In 2005, he held music workshops as a part of project “Zemlja bez granica” (transl. A Country Without Borders ). In the workshop named “Let’s Take Back the Music & Rhythm to Their Age-old Hearths” he guided students to retrieving their rhythm and aligning it with the environment vibrations.
Since 2000, Trajkov has been organizing creative and music therapy drum workshops for children and adults with special needs. He created this specific drum workshop to get the energy of music and rhythm into the world of those that the public administration does not always help in the right way. Therefore, the aim of such workshops is to provide participants with a spontaneous and natural way of insight into rhythm, music creation and personal sound experience. During this sessions, he establishes harmonious and solid group based on the hierarchy of sound and rhythm, rather than physical, mental or social predisposition of participants.
Trajkov is a native of Zagreb. He was was raised in Zagreb and is now in Croatia. His father Stojan is an accordionist. Trajkov is of Macedonian descendant. Trajkov obtained the bachelor’s diploma in engineering architecture at the University of Zagreb in 1994.

When he was a youngster, Trajkov was a big admirer of Bijelo Dugme. His father would take him to the album in 1976. Eto! Bas hocu! Promo concert in Dom Sportova, Zagreb. He was inspired by the event to pursue his future career. In 1979 the year the student graduated from a junior music school , where he received lessons in piano. Then, he learned how to play the guitar.
When he was in 1983, Trajkov became a part of the group Karavele in 1983, which was a band that was part of the support tour of rock groups Elektricni Orgazam and Idoli. Following that, in the latter part of the 1980s, he was a part of various rock groups including Macke and the Rocket Stars. Then, in 1990, he joined as the drummer of an teen rockabilly band called Fantomi. He quit the band following the breakup in 1994.
Trajkov joined Zabranjeno Pušenje in the fall of 1996. His first performance came on the band concerts in Zagreb and Sarajevo when recordings for the live album Hapsi sve! (1998) happened. After that, he participated in the recording of the sixth studio album Agent tajne sile (1999), as well as all the later ones; Bog vozi Mercedes (2001), Live in St. Louis (2004), Hodi da ti čiko nešto da (2006), Muzej revolucije (2009), Radovi na cesti (2013), and Šok i nevjerica (2018).
