Brandon Steve October (born 30 May 1977) is a South African pop singer-songwriter, who became famous after finishing second in the debut episode of the reality TV reality show South African Pop Idols in 2002.
October was featured on a compilation album Idols The Album. The singer signed a record agreement to BMG Africa, and his debut album Temptation debuted during October of 2003. Temptation has been nominated to win the 2004 SAMA prize in the area of the Best Pop album. Three tracks of the album received top-of-the-chart status on both the national and regional radio stations within South Africa.
2011 saw the release of October’s third studio album. This self-titled album was nominated for a SAMA award in the category of Best Pop Album.
In 2003, October hosted Voila the lifestyle show on M-net. He was a guest host in the series Pasella (SABC3) as well as co-hosted three seasons of the television series Supersterre (SABC2).
