Boyd Lalor Wilson (born 11 February 1959) is a Australian musician, singer, as well as record-maker. Wilson was keyboardist and vocalist for one Perth’s largest groups, The Fingerprints, in 1979, and then The Kind, 1985 featuring Mark Lizotte, Denise Demarchi, Yak Sherrit, Suze DeMarchi Dean Denton and Gary Dunn. In this period, Wilson was a keyboardist as well as backing vocals for Dave Warner on his album Correct Weight (1979) Later, he toured with Warner. The year 1989 saw Wilson received a contract from the president of Chrysalis Records in UK as writer, writing and collaborating together with Alan Tarney, Kevin Peek, Keith Potger, Trevor Spencer, Robin Hild, Patrick Dollaghan, Eric Lowen and Dan Navarro. Lowen and Navarro have released a song they co-wrote together with Wilson entitled “Rapt in You” on their album Walking on a Wire. “Rapt in You” was also released by Cameron Daddo in 1992 on his album A Long Goodbye. Wilson also co-wrote a number of tracks with singer/songwriter and guitarist Nuno Bettencourt.

Wilson has spent the last couple of years working and living throughout Rome as well as Milan, Italy and Stockholm Sweden writing and producing for the artist Mia Milan. Their debut song “I Won’t Cry” was featured in Channel 9’s show House Husbands in Australia 2012. Milan also was awarded their place in the “Voice on” festival in Rome, Italy with this track. Other credits in the production include Milan singing the Maria de Fillipi talent showcase ‘Amici which aired in Italy in 2012. Milan also was a part of Festival di Castrocaro in 2013.

Variety WA awarded Boyd and Demarchi the famous “Variety Heart of Show business Award” for establishing and directing The Variety Youth Choir.
