In March of 2010, Leslie was named assistant coach at the DEL team Dusseldorfer EG and served in the same role as coach at Swiss ZSC Lions between February until October.

Since 2006 Leslie became a part of in 2006 the Hamburg Freezers of the German Deutsche Eishockey Liga (DEL) beginning as assistant coach before being promoted to the position of sport director in January of 2008. His contract ended in April of 2009.
