He later relocated into Los Angeles, where he graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles in 1981.

Boden is also famous as the host of The Chase, an adaptation of the British game show that aired on ITV where he was the showrunner as well as Executive Producer. The version ran in the Game Show Network and featured British “chaser” Mark Labbett as well as the host Brooke Burns. The Chase got nominated in the 41st Daytime Emmy Awards for the Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Game Show. Professional sports bet James Holzhauer appeared on the show in 2014, a year prior to the show’s appearance in Jeopardy!. The Chase was rediscovered after Woodhauer’s participation as a contestant on Jeopardy!, and Boden was included as an expert on the game show in a variety of interviews.

Bob Boden (born January 21 1959) is a famous American TV producer. Most well- known for his work in reality TV and game shows and is currently his Executive Vice-President for Production and Development for Byron Allen’s company Entertainment Studios.

His career began in the television industry as an associate on cue cards with Barney McNulty, then as an assistant to the production team on the show Temptation and later at Paramount Television in research. This brought him to CBS and he was chosen to participate in the management training program. The result was being hired by CBS as a program director in the daytime programming. In this capacity, he was in charge of shows like Press Your Luck, The $25,000 Pyramid along with Card Sharks. He quit CBS to serve as director of development at Barry & Enright Productions, later moving into ABC in the role of director for Daytime Development, then to Buena Vista Productions, and as VP, Development for Mark Goodson Productions. He was instrumental in the creation of Game Show Network in 1994. Game Show Network in 1994 and was later the programming chief between 2001 and 2003.

At FOX Reality Channel, Boden served as Executive Producer on Solitary, American Idol Extra, The Academy, Paradise Hotel 2, Reality Remix, Reality Binge, Househusbands of Hollywood, the Really Awards, My Bare Lady, Battle of the Bods, Night Club Confessions, among others. Boden was also Executive Producer on Challenge of the Child Geniuses, Co-Executive Producer of BOOM!, consulting producer on To Tell the Truth and Superhuman, supervising producer on Family Feud, Bumper Stumpers, Pictionary and The NOVA Quiz and a writer on Jeopardy!. Other shows that Boden consulted on include Ellen, America’s Funniest Videos, The Tonight Show with Jay leno, Are You Smarter than a 5 Grader, Million Second Quiz and The Wall.
