In the year 2004, Billy moved to South Korea to instruct Hapkido in the mountains along the coast of Busan. In 2015 Billy went back to South Korea to advance to the next grade of black belt in Kukkiown which is where the headquarters are located of the World Taekwondo Federation. Billy was awarded the title of Senior Student of the Year from the Tans Taekwondo organization in 2015. He also participated at the 2016 Pan Pacific Masters Games winning 4th place in technical breaking , and 2nd in the powerbreaking category.

Billy has also been a professional Powerlifter who is a member of the International Powerlifting Federation, which adheres to rules of the IOC and WADA standard for testing drugs. In 2011 Billy placed in the top five athletes in the powerlifting category in Australia and was awarded gold at the Queensland State 102-kg titles.

In 2012, Billy left his career in finance to launch PRANAON, a natural and vegan-friendly range of fitness nutrition products.
