Billy Jack Haynes is one of the most popular and richest Professional Wrestler who was born on July 10, 1953 in Portland, United States. William Albert Haynes III (born July 10 1953) is a retired American professional wrestler who is better popularly known by his nickname Billy Jack Haynes.
Haynes returned in Oregon in 1988, and began wrestling in their independents, even creating his own organization, Oregon Wrestling Federation. In the beginning of 1990, Haynes was a part of Herb Abrams’ Universal Wrestling Federation in which they set up an additional strongman rivalry with Ken Patera and Haynes along with Ken Patera. Haynes was back in the top shows when he wore the mask of World Championship Wrestling as Black Blood in Kevin Sullivan’s stable. After The Great American Bash, Haynes was dismissed in July 1991 because of a dispute over pay. When when he was dismissed in 1991, he was suffering a major knee injury. In the following year, and half of rehab and recovering, he returned to Portland in the same year, where he became the heel and fought with the one of the most popular babyfaces Steve Doll. He was next seen at the United States Wrestling Association in 1995 before resigning in 1996.
In October 2014, the Portland Tribune reported that Haynes filed a lawsuit in federal court against WWE, alleging “egregious mistreatment of its wrestlers for its own benefit, as well as its concealment and denial of medical research and evidence concerning traumatic brain injuries suffered by WWE wrestlers.” This litigation was taken after research into chronic traumatic encephalopathy (CTE), which was attributed to causing the deaths of Chris Benoit in 2007 and Andrew Martin in 2009. Haynes also sought for the court to grant class action status for hundreds of former wrestlers and to force WWE to establish a medical trust fund to pay for wrestlers who suffer from injuries that took place in a WWE ring. Former WWE stars Vito Lograsso and Adam Mercer filed a class action lawsuit against WWE in January 2015 while being represented by the same lawyer as Haynes, Konstantine Kyros. In March 2016, the suit was dismissed by Judge Vanessa Lynne Bryant. At the time of dismissal, dozens of former WWE wrestlers had joined a class action lawsuit under Kyros’s counsel. On July 8, 2019, Kyros and the wrestlers (now totaling 67 wrestlers and estates of deceased wrestlers) filed their latest appeal in the class-action lawsuit known as Haynes, Laurinatis, et. al., v. World Wrestling Entertainment, Inc., et. al..
The year was 1986. Haynes made it to The World Wrestling Federation and feuded with Randy Savage over the Intercontinental Championship and later together with Hercules Hernandez over who was more powerful, stronger and could do better with the full Nelson (their mutual finishing move). Their fight within the WWF culminated in the event dubbed “The Battle of the Full Nelsons” at WrestleMania III, in which the two wrestlers battled for an infamous double count-out. Following the bell, Hercules’ manager Bobby Heenan was slapping Haynes on the back as He had Hercules wearing a full nelson position in the floor. Haynes pursued Heenan to the ring, where Hercules stunned him by a chain that he has become famous for and slammed Haynes repeatedly and (Kayfabe) cut his forehead (in real life, Haynes had bladed himself with a small blade concealed in the tapes that surrounded his wrists following the first blow. He was seen in the camera taking the razor from his wrist tapes, while chasing Heenan around the Ring).
