Billy Brimblecom is one of the most popular and richest Drummer who was born on January 8, 1977 in Kansas City, Missouri, United States. Brimblecom began playing drums when he was 11 years old. In 1995, at the age of 18 Brimblecom became a part of Lawrence Kansas-based heavy rock group Stick who released two albums.) Their debut album Heavy Bag, released in 1993 Heavy Bag was released by Arista records.

Brimblecom has parted ways with Blackpool Lights in 2007. He’s since been working on sessions with the producer/songwriter Don Chaffer (of Waterdeep). He has been featured published in Modern Drummer and Relevant Magazine and The Pitch in Kansas City. The Pitch.

In the autumn of 2004 Brimblecom joined forces along with Jim Suptic of The Get Up Kids to create Blackpool Lights. Brimblecom produced Blackpool Lights’ 2006 Curb Appeal Records release “This Town’s Disaster” . In the early part of 2005, Brimblecom was diagnosed with a form of cancer that had developed in his leg, known as Ewing’s sarcoma. The result was the leg of his left leg being cut off over the knee. After 13 chemotherapy sessions and some months of rehab, Brimblecom re-joined Blackpool Lights and started touring (on the drums using the aid of a prosthetic leg) in March of 2006. Brimblecom and the band performed extensive tours across their tour of the U.S., Canada and Japan and also played the support slot for Social Distortion, Anberlin, Angels and Airwaves.

The year 1997 was the time that Brimblecom came together to form the rootsy power-pop group, The Creature Comforts with songwriter Christopher Tolle. He has also been doing session work and production with friend and bandmate (from The Khrusty Brothers and The Klangs), Greg LaFollette.
