Bernard Ronald James (born February 7 in 1985) is an American professional basketball player who most recently was a player for Limoges CSP of the LNB Pro A. He was a college basketball player with Florida State University. He also is the oldest player ever to be selected by the National Basketball Association (NBA) at the age of 27 as well as 148 days.
On September 3 on the 3rd of September, 2014. James was signed by the Mavericks. But, he was removed to the Mavericks on October 25 the 25th of October, 2014. On the 3rd of November on the 3rd of November 2014, he got taken over with the Texas Legends as an affiliate player. After participating in the Legends the initial two matches of the year the team departed in order to join China. On the 21st of November in 2014, he was signed by Shanghai Sharks. Shanghai Sharks for the 2014-15 CBA season.
On July 31, 2015, James re-signed with the Shanghai Sharks for the 2015–16 CBA season. On March 12, 2016, he signed with Galatasaray of Turkey for the rest of the 2015–16 Turkish Basketball Super League season. In early May 2016, he left Galatasaray.
On February 11, 2015, James signed a 10-day contract with the Dallas Mavericks, returning to the franchise for a second stint. He signed a second 10-day contract with the Mavericks on February 21, and for the rest of the season on March 3.
