Barb and Darcy have won their third provincial championship in 2009. The last time they won, Enright was throwing lead stones, and the newcomer Brette Richards was at second. In the 2010 Scotties Tournament of Hearts, the rink ended the tournament with a record of 2-9.
In Grand Slam events, Spencer has made the quarterfinals in five events, and the semi finals. Spencer was a star in her junior career. She played third for Darcy’s sister’s team. The team took home in 1984 the Canadian Junior Curling Championships for Manitoba. The following year, Spencer won the provincial mixed championships, and was a the third position in the team of Hal Tanasichuk.
Spencer took home her first provincial title for women’s tennis, playing third against her sister, Darcy.
