Brian James Rosenberg (born September 17th in 1985) is an American former professional baseball player. He was a right-handed pitcher, and was mostly as a relief pitcher. Rosenberg is a native of Newport News, Virginia, but he went to Meade County High School in Kentucky. Following that, he went to Louisville University, University of Louisville, where he played for four years. He completed his degree before his team the Philadelphia Phillies drafting him in the 2008 Major League Baseball Draft. He moved through the Phillies minor league system over the following years before making the Major League debut June 9 in 2012. The remainder of the season, and into the 2013 season, he split his times between Phillies Triple-A affiliate, the Lehigh Valley IronPigs and the Major League squad.

Rosenberg was ejected from on the Phillies roster on the 27th of October in 2014.

Following his graduation from The University of Louisville, where Rosenberg played baseball in college with the Cardinals (where Rosenberg earned an MBA from the school of sports management), Rosenberg was drafted by the Philadelphia Phillies in the 13th round of the draft in 2008. The next three seasons playing in low levels within the Phillies farm system, working principally as the closer. From 2008 to 2010, the catcher made 33 saves over 48 games, while also posting an average of 12-4 between the three levels, despite being disabled by a latissimus dorsi injury.

He began the 2011 season with the AAA Reading Phillies, where he briefly played as an in-game pitcher. The season he pitched, he had an impressive 4.17 ERA with a 5-7 score over 39 contests. After he began in 2012 with the Reading Phillies, he was elevated to Triple-A Lehigh Valley IronPigs.

Rosenberg signed a minor league contract with the Los Angeles Dodgers on January 30, 2015. The Dodgers released him on April 5.
