In the middle of 2008, when the rank of Police Lieutenant General he was moved from the position of Commander of the Metropolitan Police to be Assistant Commissioner of Police and Pol Lt Gen Suchart Muankaew taking this position instead this was criticized because it could not handle the rally of the People’s Alliance for Democracy.
