Aslan Tlebzu is one of the most popular and richest Musician who was born on February 24, 1981 in Teuchezhsky District, Adygea, Russia. Tlebzu was born into a tiny Circassian community in Adygea in the year 1981. He was a student at in the Art Institute of the Adyghe State University in Maykop and then, following graduation, was an accordionist in the Adygean State Folk Song Ensemble – Islamey. Since then, he’s released a number of singles and albums, and collaborated with various groups and artists and has performed across many countries including Russia, Turkey, Jordan, Israel, and the UAE.

Ensembles and artists who were part of the event were Aslan Tlebzu, Zaur Nagoy, Svetlana Kushu, Zubeir Yewaz, School of Caucasian Dance Nart, Ensemble of Caucasian Dance Abreks, Ensemble Oshad, Folkloric Group Hatti, State Dance Ensemble of Karachay and Cherkessia Mercury Ensemble of Circassian and Abkhazian Music and Dance Bzabza, Children’s Ensemble of Circassian Dance Zerdax, National Ensemble Ashemez as well as Ballet Show Imperia.

In the year 2016, Tlebzu created a Circassian national cultural project called Freedom to help promote and disseminate Circassian tradition and folklore. The tale of the Circassian nation was depicted in different forms of performance art, including music instruments, dance and poetry. Professional and amateur Circassian performers and ensembles around 120 people, participated in the spectacular event, which was arranged by the government of Adygea, the Republic of Adygea.
