In October 2012, Akinbobola began organising a monthly event called “Best of Both Worlds” networking event (BOBW), where she gives upcoming fashion designers, artists/talent, poets, comedians, writers, media personalities, DJs and entertainers the opportunity to showcase their talent and she also supports and creates awareness for one charitable organisation at every edition of BOBW.
In the year 2010 Akinbobola began recording her own TV show ‘Reflections’ with Ariyike which is available to watch on her YouTube page “Ariyike weekly”. In 2011, she auditioned for a position as a presenter for the brand new Satellite TV Station – Spice TV and in June of 2011, Akinbobola got employed by Spice TV as a TV presenter.

Akinbobola’s passion for entertainment started as a young child. Her siblings and she played dress-up and choreograph musical performance at gatherings with the family. She was a student at Federal Home Science Primary School, Ikoyi, Lagos where she was part of the Brownies Society and when she entered the high school of Queen’s College, Lagos, she was constantly on stage during variety shows and award ceremonies. Because of her cheerful and cheerful personality she was awarded the prize to be ‘Miss Friendly’ in her class during the class’s 1998 last year’s awards night. After that, she went to university at the University of Lagos, Akoka to pursue a degree in Law.
She graduated in 2006 and was awarded the LLB in Law following which she went into the Nigerian Law school in Lagos where she received an BL in Law.
In 2011, after practising law for a few years, she obtained a diploma in Television Presenting at the London Academy of Media, Film and Television.

In 2013, Akinbobola made her acting debut in the Nigerian hit TV series “Lekki wives” alongside Kiki Omeili and Katherine Obiang, she also made an appearance on the series “Aunty Caro’s bar”. Akinbobola co-hosted the Lagos Countdown crossover concert alongside Ikponmwosa Osakioduwa and Quest (in 2012) as well as Gbenga Adeyinka and Ill-Rhymz (in 2013). The event is organised by the Lagos state government and is broadcast live across Africa. It is similar to the annual Times Square, New Year Countdown event.
