Ardena Frances “Ardie” McInelly (born September 2nd 1959) is an American basketball coach. McInelly served as the chief coach for women’s basketball for Idaho State from 1996 to 2001 , and at the Air Force from 2001 to 2010.

From 1996 until 2001, McInelly was the head coach at Idaho State University, where she recorded a 77-62 mark. The team in 2000 went 25-5, which was the most successful year in school history. The team in 2000 went 18-0 in conference play and also won the league championship without a doubt. This helped them get through to the NCAA tournament, but they ended up losing to Vanderbilt. Idaho State finished third or higher in the Big Sky Conference in all five seasons in the conference. She won back-to-back Coach of the Year awards for the Big Sky Conference during her final two seasons.

She was fired by the Academy on March 29, 2010, with two years remaining on her contract.
