Antonello Silverini (born 21 August 1966 from Rome) is an Italian illustrator from Italy. He was the first illustrator to be awarded the award MAM (Master of Art and Craft). He has worked in collaboration with Il Sole 24 Ore, la Repubblica, Panorama, l’Espresso and The Boston Globe, and has designed covers for numerous novels, such as those by Ian McEwan for Einaudi and Philip K. Dick for Fanucci.

In the year 2017 Professor Carmelo Occhipinti focused on his research in the volumes “Antonello Silverini. Quello che si vede” that is included in the Monographs series by Horti Hesperidum. It was published under the supervision from the Department of Literary, Philosophical and Art History of the University of the studies of Rome “Tor Vergata”.

Ascanio Celestini selected Silverini images to illustrate his film Lunga vita alla sposa shown in 2015 at Venice International Film Festival. In 2016 Silverini was in Le eccellenze creative del fumetto e dell’illustrazione di Roma e Lazio (The creative excellence of comics and illustration of Rome and Lazio), a catalog of young up-and-coming cartoonists and illustrators. The volume was released in the very first comic con called The Festival international de la bande dessinee of Angouleme.
