Anthony Roberson (born February 14 in 1983) was an American professional basketball player who is a member of Lenadores de Durango in the Liga Nacional de Baloncesto (LNBP).
He’s been a part of his four National Basketball Association (NBA) team as well as several foreign teams throughout his pro career that lasted for six years. Roberson played basketball in college at his alma mater, the University of Florida, and was signed by the NBA’s Memphis Grizzlies as an undrafted free agent in 2005.
In October 2006 he was signed by the Golden State Warriors to be evaluated during training camp, and would appear in 20 contests in 2006–07, being waived in early January 2007.
After failing to find a job in the NBA in 2007–08, Roberson went overseas and spent the season in Israel (playing for Hapoel Jerusalem) and Turkey.
He signed up to be a part of the NBA draft following his junior season and was signed by the Memphis Grizzlies in August 2005 after he was not drafted. Through his 2005-2006 NBA season, his team divided with the Grizzlies along with the Arkansas RimRockers, the Grizzlies’ D-League affiliate.

His brother, Terrance Roberson, played basketball in college during his time at Fresno State and appeared in three games with the Charlotte Hornets in 2000.
Roberson was awarded an athletic scholarship to study at his first year at the University of Florida in Gainesville, Florida, where he was a player for Billy Donovan’s Florida Gators men’s basketball team from 2003 until 2005. He decided to not play in the season’s final NCAA eligibility and walked out of the school at the end of his third season to participate in his first NBA Draft.
