Anna Catherine Turley (born 9 October 1978) is an British politician from Britain. She is a part of Labour and Co-operative, she was the Member of Parliament (MP) for Redcar from 2015 to the year 2019. Turley has been the Chairperson for the Co-operative Party since 8 June 2019.

Turley was nominated in the North West Durham seat for the general election of 2010, but lost to Pat Glass. The year 2011 was the year that Turley established a consulting firm and an online website ProgLoc (Progressive Localism) for a progressive discussion of important issues that affect local government and also became an associate researcher with the non-governmental organization Future of London. In 2012, Turley was named an official public speaker of The New Labour pressure group Progress. The year 2013 saw Turley changed to a top researcher with IPPR North.

In September 2015, the newly elected Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn appointed Turley as shadow civil society minister in his first shadow cabinet.

She supported Andy Burnham in the 2015 leadership election.

In 2007 Turley was employed by the PR agency The Ledbury Group. She joined The Ledbury Group in April 2008. took on the role of deputy director of local government research organization, called the New Local Government Network, and in 2010, co-founded The Co-operative Councils Innovation Network designed to allow local authorities to collaborate with local communities.
