On April 9, in 2008 Wauters together with Morenike Atunrase as well as the 2009 second round draft selection and a 2009 second round draft pick, were transferred for the San Antonio Silver Stars for Camille Little, Chioma Nnamaka and Chioma Nnamaka, the Silver Stars’ first round selection from the 2009 WNBA Draft. In her first year as a member of the Silver Stars, she averaged an all-time high of 14.7 ppg while serving as the team’s center of the match. With Becky Hammon, the Silver Stars were also a title contender in 2008, finishing second in West with a record of 24-10 and progressed to the Finals, only to be swept by Detroit Shock. She then was in the second half of the off- season with Galatasaray S.K. In May of 2016, Wauters signed with AGU Spor of the Turkish League for the 2016-17 off-season. As of June 2017 Wauters had signed with Yakin Dogu from the Turkish League for the 2017-18 Euroleague season.
