Anjeza Shahini is one of the most popular and richest Singer who was born on May 4, 1987 in Tirana, Albania. Anjeza Shahini was born the 4th of May 1987, in Tirana which was then one of the People’s Republic of Albania, which is now Albania. As of 2003, Shahini was the winner of the inaugural version of “Ethet e se premtes mbrema”. In late 2003, along with 29 other singers she participated in Festivali I Kenges 42 with the track “Imazhi yt”. After two rounds of prelims, Shahini reached the final on the 20th of December. At the conclusion of which host Adi Krasta as well as Ledina Celo awarded her winning the jury and the televote. It meant she would be representing Albania during the 2004 Eurovision Song Contest in Istanbul, Turkey, in Albania’s debut year at the contest. In it to be part of the ESC finale, a three minute English rendition of “The Image Of You” titled “The Image of You” was composed. Anjeza performed in the semi-finals of ESC on May 12, 2004, and placed fourth out of 22. The top ten result earned Anjeza her place in the final, where on 15 May , she competed against contestants from 24 other nations and came in seventh place with a total score of 106 points.
After finishing their studies at the University of Austria in 2007 Anjeza went back to Albania and signed an agreement for her Albanian recording label “Eurostar”. She performed on Kenget e Shekullit 2, an award-winning show that aired on TV Klan consisting of remakes of the top Albanian songs from the previous century. She was a part of Kenga Magjike 2007 with the song “Nxenesja me e mire” (“The most talented student”) which was a hit. The other singers’ votes placed her 4th however she was awarded the critics’ prize.
In 2010, Shahini finished her contract with Eurostar and became an independent artist. In the same year she completed her studies in International Relations at the European University of Tirana. In 2011, she participated for the first time in Top Fest performing a duet with Kosovo band Dren Abazi & ZZOrchestra. Their song “Ti dhe une” was awarded for “Best Interpretation”. A music video was released after the festival in partnership with “PinkMoon” production. In 2012, she released the ballad “Te desha shume”, composed by Endrit Shani and produced by Sebastian Video Production.
Anjeza Shahini took part in the Albanian Eurovision Song Contest Selection for 2013 with the song “LOVE”, when she again finished in second place. In the same year, she collaborated with German artist Martin Kilger for the song “Kastanien Lied” where she appeared as a guest singer.
The 3rd of June, 2006, Anjeza Shahini performed as the special guest during the Euro Video Grand Prix contest that was held in Albania. The contest was opened by the track “Welcome to Europe”, that was also recorded as a single by the same studio production company in Vienna.

Anjeza Shahini (born on May 4, 1987) is an Albanian performer from Albania. She is most well-known for performing for Albania in the 2004 Eurovision Song Contest in Istanbul after winning in the 42nd version of Festivali i Kenges.
In 2004 Anjeza recorded a hit song (“Ne mes nesh”) in Marigona, the Kosovo group Marigona. In 2005, she signed the contract of an agency for managing artists based in Vienna. In her two years in Vienna she pursued study in private and released a few singles in collaboration featuring well-known Austrian composer Harald Hanisch, including the track “Pse Ndal” (Why Stop) that was performed during the Albanian National Song Festival (Festivali Kenges) which is the Albanian selection procedure to be part of this year’s Eurovision Song Contest. Anjeza Shahini was able to make it through two semi- finals and the final twenty in the National Final and was one of the favorites to take home the prize. In the final that aired on the 18th of December, 2005 The winner’s name was revealed with the tune “Zjarr e ftohte”, performed by Luiz Ejlli.
In August 2008, Anjeza Shahini released her first album, Erdhi momenti, containing only new songs, all in Albanian. Some of the songs were composed by Adrian Hila, but she also collaborated with other well known composers such as Pirro Cako and Genti Myftaraj and some of the lyrics were written by Anjeza’s sister, Bela. The songs “Erdhi Momenti” and “Lot Pendimi” were promoted with a music video produced by Max Production.
