Andrew Robert Wilkins (born September 13th 1988) is an American professional first baseman in baseball who is an unrestricted free agent. He played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Chicago White Sox and the Milwaukee Brewers.
Wilkins was a part of eight Spring Training games for the White Sox in March and April 2012. Following Spring Training Wilkins got assigned to the Birmingham Barons, the Double-A affiliate of the White Sox. He batted .239 by hitting 17 home runs and scoring 69 RBI. After returning to Birmingham in the beginning of 2013 and played in the 67th game and was averaging .288 including 10 homers, and 49 RBI. His team moved him to Triple-A Charlotte Knights of the International League in which the team hit .265 during 58 contests, with 7 homers, and 30 RBI.
In 2014 with Charlotte he played in 127 games and batted .293 with 30 homers and 85 RBI.
On September 6, 2015, he was claimed off waivers by the Baltimore Orioles. The Orioles designated him for assignment on November 25 and he was claimed off waivers by the Seattle Mariners on December 2. He was then claimed off waivers by the Texas Rangers on December 14. On December 23, Wilkins was claimed off waivers by the Milwaukee Brewers.
Wilkins was selected to The Chicago White Sox in the fifth round (158th overall) of the 2010 Major League Baseball Draft. Wilkins was selected to the Great Falls Voyagers in 2010 and was named to the Pioneer League post-season all-star team. Wilkins started the 2010 season playing for playing for the Winston-Salem Dash of the Carolina League. The team was named Carolina League Player of the Week in May, and selected on the 2010 Carolina League All-Star Team. Wilkins also took part in the California-Carolina league’s 2011 Home Run Derby. Wilkins ended the season by winning the Dash with an .278 average in batting 72 runs scored with 137 hits, 33 doubles, 0 triples 23 homers, 89 RBI’s nine strikeouts and a .485 percent slugging rate.

Wilkins was a graduate of Broken Arrow Senior High in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma in 2007. The season he played in was his senior one. Wilkins batted .538 which included 18 doubles along with a triple as well as 12 homers. He scored 53 runs, with an .635 on-base percentage and hit 1.017. Wilkins was twice selected on the Oklahoma All-State team, as in being named to the Louisville Slugger High School All-American team. The following summer, he was also a part of the Yarmouth-Dennis RedSox in the Cape Cod League, where he was the leader of the team with five hits at home and in 26 of the 26 runs batted into.
On August 31, 2014, the White Sox purchased his contract and promoted him to the major leagues. He was hitless in four at-bats with three strikeouts in his debut. His first hit was a double to right field off of Carlos Carrasco of the Cleveland Indians on September 7. In 17 games, he had six hits in 43 at bats, with two doubles.
