He is the Chairman of the Executive Committee of the World Qoroltai of the Bashkirs, and Director General of the Research Center for Beekeeping and Apitherapy of The Republic of Bashkortostan. He is also a Member from the State Assembly for the Republic of Bashkortostan and a member of the Petrovskaya Academy of Sciences and Arts.
In 2012 the year 2012, he was a candidate for Corresponding Membership from the academy of sciences of the Bashkortostan Republic.
As of 2005 Ishemgulov completed his dissertation for doctoral study and received the degree of Doktor Nauk. In 2006, he was awarded the title Professor. Presently, he is an instructor at his former school, now called Bashkir State Agrarian Universities.
