He is currently signed to play for the Leones de Ponce, Baloncesto Superior Nacional.
Cruz played for the Niagara Purple Eagles basketball team in college. He then went on to become a professional basketball player in Europe and Mexico. He played in 2008 for the Soproni sOrdogok, Hungary-A Division. His average of 17.6 ppg was his best.
