Klineman quit indoor volleyball in 2017 to concentrate on beach volleyball full time. He was named AVP Rookie-of-the Year. Klineman and April Ross were beach volleyball partners at the end of 2017. Klineman and Ross won FIVB Dela Beach Open January 2018, which was also their first tournament together. Klineman and Ross won four tournaments during the 2018 AVP tour: the Austin Open and the Manhattan Beach Open as well as the Championships (in Chicago) and the Hawaii Invitational. Klineman was also named the AVP Team Of The Year along with April Ross. He was also individually honored with the AVP Award Banquet’s Best Blocker, Most Improved Player and Individual Honors. Klineman and Ross won the Yangzhou Open gold medal at the FIVB tournament in October 2018.

In 2013, she was tested positive for anabolic steroids and was placed on suspension for 13 months. Klineman claims that the positive results were caused by her mother’s DHEA supplements.
