St Laurent started her ultramarathon journey in 2013 with the Blackfoot Ultra 50-mile race. She also ran the 100-km Lost Soul in the foothills of Lethbridge, Alberta that year, and finished as the top female. St Laurent won the Canadian Death Race 125 km in 16:03:37, her first attempt. This race had over 17,000ft (5,200m) elevation change.
St Laurent raced Lost Soul again in 2014. She won top female and set the course record at 11:00:55. It was a close race. The top male finisher finished in 11:14:14, 41 seconds faster than St Laurent. St Laurent finished 13th in her 100-mile first race, the Western States 100 in California. Her time was 22:17:43. In 2014, St Laurent also completed the Trans Gaspe 262-km seven-day stage race in Quebec.
In 2015 St Laurent won the mountainous 100-Mile Sinister 7 race and set the female course record of 18:37:19 as well as breaking the previous male course record. The 100-mile race takes place in the mountains of Crowsnest Pass, Alberta and has over 18,658 feet (5,687 m) of elevation gain. She finished 15 minutes behind the top male finisher Dave Proctor, at one point being less than 5 minutes behind him.
