Bettles was also included on a special Grange Hill music album, which featured songs by Steve Wright, who wrote the theme song for Channel 4’s Brookside. Bettles performed a solo song called “School Love”, which was inspired by her character’s tragic relationship with Mr. King. Bettles was reunited in 2005 with former Grange Hill castmates. They appeared in Justin Lee Collins’s Channel 4 documentary Bring Back…Grange Hill. The show saw them perform Just Say No, their top ten hit in front of an audience at Hammersmith Palais.
